This year for Megacon we stayed at the La Quinta Inn and Suites In Orlando FL. I have never been disappointed by this hotel, this time was no different. As always the room was really nice and clean and the location was great. Only a mile and a half from the con, we could of walked and been ok. This year we took the trolly which was right down from the hotel, so it saved us money on parking and the walk down. The staff at this hotel was great and  so was the breakfast, bannana n...

Story and Art by CLAMP (Satsuki Igarashi, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Nanase Ohkawa)

Having previously read this title, and seen a few episodes of the anime, I was enthusiastic to revisit this story. I was in the target audience (shojo,  females aged about eight to fifteen) the first time I read this manga, and came to love the characters. In my opinion, the three elements that make or break a manga are: characters, story, and art. The characters each have different persona...

First Impressions of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

This entry is honestly more of a third person review, and even then, a limited one. Watching my older brother play this game moved me to write a review for this site, to share my observations with the other members of L.A.G.

The music for this game is simply gorgeous, beginning with a crisp opening and keeping the quality up with riveting selections, even turning to a more lighthearted tone at some points. The artwork is lovely, beginning with one style and then switching to ...

Posted by Carmelita on November 17, 2011 at 9:10 PM Comments comments (0)

Developed by: Office Create (now Cooking Mama Limited)

North American publisher: Majesco Entertainment

This game presents a unique concept to players: essentially cook with a Wii remote, mimicking the motions required and keeping a careful eye on details. Cook Off is easy enough for children to play (perhaps for those aged nine to twelve), while bringing some interesting variety to the table for adults. The music is cute, with different tunes representing the different countries ...
